Our Service Line will then conduct a remote analysis of the faulty device or may require further data from you.

Please note: Faulty devices must still be connected & be part of the PV system during the diagnosis process. Please do not de-commission the inverter!

Having registered your PV system in SMA’s proprietary Sunny Portal will greatly assist during the fault finding process. The SMA Service Line will establish whether an exchange is required. We kindly ask you to please wait until you receive the replacement unit before returning the defective device. This enables you to swap add-on components from the defective into the replacement unit.

Among other services, SMA carries out the setting of required and plant-specific parameters and performs a comprehensive function test.
